Some people just love making things more complicated than they really are! One lady in the entrance commission told me Im too dumb to become an interpreter. I told her: Believe it or not, Im gonna make it!. And thats what happened! Im now one of the leading students of our department planning to graduate with honours just because I know I can! Hah! Stop flattering me! My Italian is still mediocre (capisco TUTTO, ma non posso parlare!). I guess Im just too afraid to make a mistake... Anyways, when there was no other way, I spoke the way I could simply to make people understand at least some part! Matteo e Paolo hanno detto che ero brava! He-he... They were probably flattering as well... Im working, but 40% of the job is sheer pleasure as we organize parties for those who successfully ascend the West summit of mount Elbrus and I must say its fantastic! Besides, I have enough free time to explore the surroundings, pick some blueberries, take amazing photos... Im thinking of coming back next year and looking for something more promising afterwards... Well, yeah, I got an invitation, but it sounded more like an i-just-want-to-seem-sweet-and-hospitable phrase. Time will tell... HUGE SNOWY HUGS ... yep, its snowing in here...

If I have some free time, I'll upload a photo. Internet here is way too slow, so I don't know whether I'll succeed or not. Anyways, there are lots of great people around, from all over the world (from Italy as well - so I have the possibility to practice my language skills). I made lots of friends and got an invitation to come to Amsterdam :) The mountains and landscapes are amazing! Gosh, I would send you dozens of photos as soon as I come back to civilized world. How are you? Having fun? Looking forward to going to the US?!

Its the highest peak in Europe and Im supposed to take care of the foreigners who want to ascend it! Naturally, I wont have to climb or anything, but just BEING there must me amazing. Am I right? Besides, the company provides accomodation and meals, so its kind of a dream-job. Oh! Did I tell you I teach Italian?! My only student is a very clever girl and I can feel she loves the language... But your note cheered me up! Yep, the crash of my summer plans just killed me, but I got an awesome compensation! For 4 wonderful days I worked with a man named Roberto from Brescia! With a real native speaker of Italian! NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS MY EXCITEMENT! He installed a labeling machine at a factory nearby and I was asked to be his interpreter! 10 hours a day! Gosh... I couldnt get enough... Of course, sometimes I said really stupid things and confused the conjugations, but, on the whole, we understood each other! And the employees of the factory understood him thanks to me! And, last but not least, I got my first official fee! So I have nothing to complain of after all... Well, how are you, luv??? Oh!
